He is also involved in charity and is Honorary President of Wooden Spoon, a rugby charity which seeks to improve the lives of disadvantaged children in Britain and Ireland, and was made a UNICEF UK ambassador in 2009.

Matt Dawson is a rugby legend and Rugby World Cup winner. He currently appears on ‘A Question of Sport’ with as a captain with Phil Tufnell. Matt also appears on Radio 5 Live and BT Sport. Between 1991 and 2006, Matt represented Northampton Saints and London Wasps at club level and internationally toured with the British and Irish Lions 3 times.
His most renowned moment in rugby was being part of the 2003 England World Cup winning team. He is England’s most capped scrum half of all time. Since retiring from professional Rugby, Matt has moved into business as director for multiple companies. He is also seen regularly on BBC as A Question of Sport captain and appears frequently on BBC radio. Matt is a pronounced business speaker and talks openly about dealing with the day to day difficulties faced in the industries he operates in and how best to overcome them.
