George Clarke
George Clarke is an architect. He is also a writer, lecturer and TV presenter.
George is the presenter of several very successful series for television, including Channel 4’s Remarkable Renovations, Ugly House to Lovely House, Restoration Man, Shed of the Year, The Great British Property Scandal, George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces and Old House, New Home to name just a few. George’s design talent and passion for beautiful buildings has transformed the homes and lives of so many people across Britain. George was born and raised in Sunderland and from the age of 12 wanted to be an architect. After studying architecture at the University of Newcastle and University College London, George started his own practice. In 2011 George set up his new company George Clarke + Partners. George Clarke + Partners is an inspirational, new, multidisciplinary company that covers all aspects of architecture, design, project management, construction and property development.
Through his innovative new company, TV presenting, lecturing and research, George aims to make architecture popular and accessible to everyone, and to share his passion for architecture’s ability to transform our everyday lives.
George also is the founder of MOBIE, an educational charity and is the ambassador of charities such as Shelter.
